SOCQRL was established in Feb. 1996 with partial support from the National Science Foundation (DUE 95-51910) and N.I.U. College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Further support was obtained from N.S.F. (DUE 97-52619).
Professor Charles Cappell founded and directs the Lab. Ongoing support is provided by student user fees, the Dept. of Sociology, the College, and the Graduate School. The Lab is housed in DuSable 222 (753.6507)
